Metro Mayor candidates live debate with BBC Coventry & Warwickshire

April 18 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm
We are excited to host the local Metro Mayor candidate debate live at the Disruptive Media Learning Lab!

Coventry University is hosting BBC Coventry & Warwickshire’s debate between the West Midlands Metro Mayor candidates on Tuesday 18 April. BBC presenter Phil Upton will be broadcasting his Drive Time radio show live from the Disruptive Media Learning Lab in the Lanchester Library from 3pm and will be chairing the debate there from 6pm to 7pm.

We are delighted to host this special event and want to open it up to colleagues. This is a great opportunity to listen to what the candidates have to say ahead of election day on Thursday 4 May, when the region will vote for its first ever Metro Mayor.

To be part of the audience, you can call the BBC on 024 7653 9222 between 10am and 12pm all this week.

Or, you are invited to join our VIP “Listening Room” in EC1.29 (Engineering and Computing Building) to listen to the live debate. We have invited guests from the community too.

The broadcast will take place from 6pm to 7pm. Refreshments will be available. Our “Listening Room” is open from 5.30pm.

We hope that you are able to attend. To register your place in the Listening Room, please click here.
