It has been a very interesting semester. I have contributed where I can, where the time allows. I spend more time in the language
department now to pin down the course of the application that is being made. I can see the progress and I can see the metaphorical light at the end of the tunnel.
I have learned a lot this semester, even with the skills picked up from working with the DMLL. I am still learning a lot by applying these skills in the real world, where success has been seen from every application including in my current module where I am developing a gamified solution for security in the NHS. Over the easter I will continue to work and think about the next steps for when I move on from DMLL. The skills I have picked up from working with the team will definitely see me through to a successful future.
It has been interesting to see what Sylvester is like outside of his work as he is a very humble man for a person in his position, to see all the ties he has with other people, one of them being my current tutor and future boss! He is a lovely host and his cooking skills are brilliant.
