This week marks the installation of iBeacon technology on the second floor of the Lanchester Library at Coventry University. We are working with subject librarians Sharon and Chris to trial iBeacons over the summer term to help students navigate around the floor to find appropriate books for their courses.

This trial is going to run throughout May to support students who have final hand-ins and exams. Evaluation of the trial will start in June when the library will begin its refurbishment to determine whether this is a technology which can improve the library service for the 2015/16 academic year.
