LEGO Lands at CU London

Author: Oliver Wood   12th July 2017

Last week, Alan and myself took a day trip down to the CU London Campus, near Liverpool Street Station. With a suitcase full of LEGO in tow, and a heap of enthusiasm we arrived bright and early at Coventry Railway Station to be faced with a one hour delay - on the plus side, a full refund is due!

Upon arrival in London, we made our way to the London Campus building, my first time there, where we met the academics and kicked off the session. Following much of the same structure of the Bento LEGO sessions at the main Coventry University Campus, we introduced the LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® methodology, went through the process of a build and reflection, broke for lunch, and developed LEGO based activities for deployment with students.

The feedback from the session was excellent, and it’s exciting to see the academics wanting to work more with us in future on developing flipped activities across the whole of the London Campus.

If you want to learn more about the LEGO activities developed by the DMLL, you can visit flipped.coventry.ac.uk/lego.
