About the session
Sam Hegarty, Project Officer, Business eLearning, University of New South Wales provided some demonstrations of technology-enhanced learning tools that the University of New South Wales are utilising.
The University of New South Wales is currently piloting the Active Learning Platform, which is increasing engagement and participation amongst students, especially within lectures. It allows content to be interacted with seamlessly via students’ comments and questions before, during and after class. This session will demonstrate the system from a student and academic point of view, and talk about the impact it’s having on lectures.
About the host
Sam contributes to the Project Management and implementation of the Flipped Learning strategic initiative – including content redevelopment, staff development, support and evaluation
Sam provides eLearning administration, staff training / development and JIT support for Flipped and Blended Learning at the University of New South Wales Business School.
