Lynda.com is an online training platform offering tutorials and full training packages in software, programming, soft skills development and a wide range of other content. Popular courses on lynda.com include training on Adobe Premier Pro, learning JavaScript, and introductions to CAD.
Available across desktop and mobile devices, the platform provides a flexible alternative to traditional technical skills development sessions and provides opportunities for learning outside of the timetabled curriculum.
Lynda.com can be used to support traditional lecture delivery, enhance flipped learning offerings, support a blended approach to education, or encourage self organised learning environments. It is a flexible tool able to support learning in a number of environments and across multiple disciplines.
Getting Started
Coventry University students and staff have access to Lynda.com. To access the resource follow the instructions below.
- Visit Lynda.com using the link at the bottom of the page.
- Click ‘Sign In‘.
- Click ‘Sign in with your organization portal’.
- Enter ‘coventry.ac.uk’ when prompted.
- Click ‘continue’.
- Enter your University username and password.
