Understanding Digital Capabilities

Overview

Digital capabilities are increasingly important to both academic study and employability skills.

With advances in digital technologies and increased use of connected devices, the workplaces of the future will require vastly different skillsets from the workplaces of today. As such, institutions are increasingly focusing time and resource on the development of the digital capabilities of both their staff and students.

The University of Derby have produced a number of videos explaining digital capabilities to help students understand their importance of a strong digital skill set. You can watch the video below to help understand what digital capabilities mean in an educational context.
